From Principal's Desk

Greetings from PMN College, Rajpura

It gives me great pleasure to encourage you to take an opening peek into the heart that beats behind the appealing entry of Patel Memorial National College. I thank you for your interest in this outstanding institution which has recorded five decades of steady progress, in the course of which it has accomplished much, making it one of the colleges known for its excellence and therefore, much sought after by the fresh applicants.

The college is permanently affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. The College already has 2(f) and 12(B) status of UGC. The college provides various academic facilities to attain Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Computer Application and Business Administration. The college not only ensures the academic development of the students but also provides them with opportunities to prove themselves by undertaking research, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Moreover, in the field of sports the college has recently made a name for itself.

The Patel Memorial National College tradition cheerfully brings together sound academic achievement with a wide-ranging, energetic co-curricular program that includes sports, and leadership training programs. Our mission is to inculcate the love of knowledge in our students and, for this; we aim to develop the skills and deportment of lifelong 'learning,' necessary for making accountable global citizens. This will make them enormously capable of facing the future with flexibility and confidence. On deeper level, we try to inspire the values of respect and trust in relationships that are the foundation of real success.

At Patel Memorial National College, we believe that 'education' is a nutritious, holistic exercise and as such we strive to give a whole new meaning to this word. Coupling this fundamental premise with idea of sense of belonging to one family—the PMN family—we look at ourselves as 'care-givers.' We care for the mind—ours is a first-rated academic institution; we care for the person—the accent is on the all-round development of individuality. I wish you the best in the process of seeking to become an integrated part of this family.
