Commerce Department conducted placement drive by Singla Associates firm in which more than twenty students have participated.

पटेल कॉलेज में श्री गुरु नानक देव जी के पर्व को समर्पित लैक्चर आयोजित किया मीडिया विभाग के छात्रों ने फोटोग्राफी, निबंध, लघु फिल्म और पोस्टर प्रतियोगिताओं में पुरस्कार जीते राजपुरा, 2 सितंबर ( ) स्थानीय पटेल मेमोरियल नेशनल ( बी+) कॉलेज के मीडिया विभाग द्वारा श्री गुरु नानक देव जी के विवाह पर्व को समर्पित विशेष लेक्चर कॉलेज प्रबंधन समिति के दिशा निर्देश में वित्त सचिव श्री राज कुमार टाटा की उपस्थिति में डीन प्रो. बलजिंदर सिंह गिल के नेतृत्व में आयोजित किया गया। जिसकी अध्यक्षता प्रिंसिपल प्रो. राजीव बहिया ने की और मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में डॉ सुरेश नायक डीन अकादमिक ने छात्रों को संबोधित किया। इस अवसर पर छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्य वक्ता डॉ. सुरेश ने प्रिंट मीडिया, टीवी और रेडियो मीडिया में करियर के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी और छात्रों को श्री गुरु नानक देव जी द्वारा बताए गए मार्ग पर चलने और "संवाद" साझा करके समाज के लिए कुछ करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इस मौके पर प्रो. रमनदीप सिंह सोढ़ी, प्रो. त्रिशरणदीप सिंह ग्रेवाल, डॉ. गीतू गुडवानी और प्रो. दीपिका कथूरिया के सहयोग से मीडिया विभाग के विद्यार्थियों ने फोटोग्राफी, लघु फिल्म, पोस्टर, निबंध आदि प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लिया। फोटोग्राफी प्रतियोगिता में बीए जेएमसी पार्ट वन के अरविंदर सिंह व गुरसिमरन सिंह ने पहला, मनवीर कौर व हरविंदर कौर ने दूसरा और मोहित जिंदल व शहनाज ने तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया। विजेता छात्रों को प्रमाण पत्र वितरण के समय प्रिंसिपल प्रो. राजीव बाहिया ने छात्रों के साथ मीडिया के महत्व और संचार गतिशीलता के साथ प्रगति प्राप्त करने के मूल मंत्र को साझा किया। प्रिंसिपल प्रो. बाहिया ने महाविद्यालय के भावी कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा के साथ नये विद्यार्थियों का परिचय कराते हुए कहा कि महाविद्यालय उन विद्यार्थियों को हर प्रकार का सहयोग प्रदान करेगा जो शैक्षणिक स्तर के साथ-साथ सांस्कृतिक, खेलकूद आदि में उत्कृष्टता प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं। संगोष्ठी के आयोजक प्रो. बलजिंदर सिंह गिल, प्रो. रमनदीप सिंह सोढ़ी ने भी पहले गुरु श्री गुरु नानक देव जी के विवाह पर्व पर पूरी मानवता को बधाई दी और इस अवसर पर छात्रों को जलपान भी प्रदान किया गया। इस आयोजन में डॉ. हिना गुप्ता, डाॅ. रश्मि बात्ता , प्रो. मिंकी ओबेरॉय, प्रो. दलजीत सिंह और मनदीप सिंह ने भी योगदान दिया। अंत में फोटोग्राफी व पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने वाले विद्यार्थियों को प्रमाण पत्र भी वितरित किए गए। वहीं मीडिया की कार्यप्रणाली पर शॉर्ट फिल्म बनाने वाले छात्र लवजोत सिंह और क्रिस बी.कॉम को भी विशेष सम्मान दिया गया। चित्र: वित्त सचिव श्री राज कुमार टाटा, प्रधानाचार्य प्रो. राजीव बाहिया व अन्य विजयी विद्यार्थियों के साथ यादगारी पल सांझे करते हुए। ।

Department of Sociology, PMN College, Rajpura in collaboration with department of Forest & wildlife preservation, Forest Range (Extension), Patiala and Public Help Foundation (Regd.) Punjab organized one day workshop On World Earth Day (on 22 April 2023) at Patel Memorial National College, Rajpura.

A placement drive held by dept. of commerce for students of B.com 3 and M.com on 28/03/2023, where Piramal Finance ltd. came up to recruit the students on the basis of aptitude test and interview. Approx. 75 students appeared in the drive.

One day yoga workshop -'Yoga for Life' organised with the collaborative efforts of deptt. Of Management, Deptt. Of Fashion Technology, Deptt. Of Dance. Aanshi Taneja from Rishikesh instructed the students about Yoga postures and their importance for healthy life.

Department or fashion technology and department of dance organised an event on mother's day "mothership" with the collaboration of fikarmand welfare society on 14 may 2022
