Patel Memorial National College affiliated to Punjabi University Patiala, was established in the year 1966 in the pious memory of Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel – “The Iron Man of India”. Since its establishment with merely limited number of students and a small building in Rajpura, the institution has now shown a great development and amazing progress. From the very beginning the institution is on the path of success. About the Place

Patel Memorial National College located in the township of Rajpura. Rajpura is well connected by rail and road, is situated on the G.T. Road (NH1) between Sirhind and Ambala. Another road from Chandigarh to Patiala passes through the heart of this town. The college nick-named as "Patel College" is at a distance of about 1.5 kms. from Rajpura railway station and 3 kms. from G.T. Road Stop known as Gagan Chownk.
